ENTERPRISE — Safeway announced on Aug. 10 that it is closing stores, but the one in Enterprise is expected to survive this round of cutbacks.
Safeway remains the only grocery store in Enterprise, since Dollar Stretcher closed earlier this year.

FLORA — The North End Grange is hosting an inaugural community appreciation picnic on Saturday, Aug. 22, starting at 1 p.m. at the grange, 81029 Flora Lane.
