Here is one pertinent part of that brief letter:

Moreover, in order to promote the dignified celebration of the sacred mysteries, we must emphasize the need for fidelity to the approved texts and instructions. 

 This will definitely prevent liturgical abuse by bishops, priests, deacons and laity—where every Mass depends on who is celebrating it!

As I am retired and celebrate Holy Mass in a variety of places, the sacristans always ask me, “Father, how do you celebrate Mass?” And I say, “by the book!” And they say, “every priest celebrates Holy Mass their own way!”

 As everyone knows, I love both forms of the Latin Rite Mass as long as both are celebrated well, reverently and with actual participation of the priest and laity present. 

I believe the two forms can coexist and enrich the Church in their diversity, even their ecclesiological diversity.

 The National catholic Register, to their credit, stop publishing unfiltered comments on their on-line platform years ago. Why? Because this liberal rag of a newspaper had readers and commenters who were the most vile, unhinged and post-Catholics to be found on earth.

Now the NcR simply publishes two or three “letters to the editor” on their on-line public...
