Dancehall artiste Shatta Wale has visited a 16‑year‑old fan injured during the stampede at the ShattaFest concert in London, fulfilling a promise he made in the aftermath of the incident.

The fan, identified as Abraham, was recovering at home with his family from cuts and injuries when Shatta Wale visited. The musician presented him with two Hotwav phones, gift cards, cash, and flowers, while also checking on his recovery.

He offered words of encouragement to the family and cheered the teenager to perform one of his songs (The Prophecy). Shatta Wale said he was struck by Abraham’s enthusiasm and ability to sing his lyrics word for word despite his condition.

“Most of the time, when I see that someone loves me that much, i get surprised. But it shows me that the connection is there. I was asking myself, how can a child from London sing my songs like that?” he remarked.

He noted that Abraham’s choice of song added significance to the moment and used the opportunity to apologise for the events at the concert.

“His choice of song shows he’s really seen his prophecy come true. I just want to say I’m so sorry for whatever happened,” Shatta Wale said.
