Between members practicing for hours, and our golf campers, the Clubhouse putting green sees a lot of activity this time of year. Unfortunately, not all of it is by golfers. There have been several occasions where we have arrived in the morning to find damage to the green from people running, flagsticks being used as hammers, etc.
It can seem counterintuitive that golf course conditions may not be as firm during periods of hot, dry summer weather, as they are during cooler periods when we receive more consistent rainfall.
