Hi all,
Been looking at auxiliary transmission cooling on the 81. The A442F only gets what the radiator end tank gives it, and in soft sand at low speed there's not much air going through anything.
Anyone running an extra cooler? After make, part number and where you got it — plus where you mounted it and whether you kept the factory one in series or bypassed it.

I can see this is where I should have been searching for like-minded DIY advice over last 12 years of ownership. Thank you to all for sharing your helpful contributions. I have some big maintenance things I'm saving up for (Ive been saying that for 3 years).

Gutted because I’ve been hauling an uprated sway bar around in my truck for I don’t know how long and finally got around to fitting it but neither links nor bar came with bolts to attach .

Do you know anyone who might deliver the correct bolts next day ?

In places this 100 is better than it looks because it's dirt not rust, and in just a few places on the rear chassis it's worse than it looks because it's rusted from the inside out. The rear chassis rails didn't look too bad but closer inspection showed thinned regions mostly where the tow bar was mounted and trapping spray.
