HONDASXS - The Honda Side by Side Club!

Hey all, I have been lurking and stealing ideas and knowledge from here for quite awhile for my 1000-5. On 8/1/26 my buggy got a few blemishes from a wild fire that roared through my property. Looking to see if anyone has any ideas on how to buff them out. Check out the photos and let me know your thoughts. Fired right up and onto a borrowed trailer.

Old dealer said I needed new ECM. Never did it cause they didn't have one. Said it might have gotten too hot due to me sealing up all the cracks in the compartment due to excess dust on heater fan. Ran fine for two years. Doing it again. Took out all the sealant in compartment still doing it. It will reset itself if I stop and take seat out and cool things off. Took to dealer ye...

Met some friends at Sabine ATV Park yesterday for some long overdue riding. Although this location is not idea for our style of trail riding, they do have some decent trails contradictory to the unlimited supply of mud and water holes. It’s was very hot and dusty yesterday.

Since there is a factory hole under the driver's seat to check the oil. I cut a hole under the passenger seat to access the oil filter. Great idea and it works great. Now I'm not required to remove the underseat to change the filter. Hay Honda you could do this at the factory.
