When I first started gardening, I spent years struggling to make everything work and painstakingly figuring it all out on my own by trial and error. Through it all, I just kept thinking, “There has GOT to be a better way!”. So I created one. I call it my 3 Pillars of a Healthy Garden.

If you asked me what finally helped me turn my struggling garden into a thriving one, I’d tell you it was when I started treating it like an ecosystem. That one small shift completely changed the way I garden, and it took me years of trial and error to figure it out on my own....

If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you’ve probably heard me say “grow smarter, not harder” more than once. I know it sounds a bit cliché, but the reason I say it so often is because the #1 question I’ve gotten over the past 20 years is some version of, “How can
