Unfortunately you can only access stations in the UK. The USA has wider access.

We got a new potting shed last year but it's also the base for the radio operations

We have a Citizen's Band receiver/transmitter in there (which I'll cover tomorrow) but the main radio is short wave.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of canning is waiting for these tops to loudly “TIK” when they suck in. It always gets childish cheers from us.

The season is changing and so is the nature of our veggie plots. We are harvesting something every day and as some things are finished, their beds are cleaned and mulched for the winter. The time for planting green manure has passed
