A new analysis from the state Department of Revenue shows Washington’s high-earner income tax will be paid by thousands of additional households and produce hundreds of millions of dollars more than previously assumed — if voters don’t ditch it this fall.

One of Federal Way’s greatest highlights is Dash Point State Park, which not only has a campsite, various trails and access to the Puget Sound - it has one of the best local beaches for learning how to skimboard.

The Aug. 29 event will feature dozens of local artists and small businesses, give away 500 backpacks filled with school supplies and spread the word about community resources.
