When you put a datum on a feature it's wise to put a tolerance on it such as roundness or flatness. When you put a datum on a feature with a fit, do you still need to put a tolerance on it?

Section VIII, Div. 1, Appendix 2 used to use a value called tx which was then used to determine required weld sizes.
