A beautiful journal made in my studio yesterday afternoon, from recycled items from around the student’s house. We had a lovely afternoon creating and chatting about all sorts of topics.
She was so pleased with her journal, which I understand she is now going to use for her urban sketching. Beautiful work!
Last Friday I welcomed an aunt and niece to the studio for a private metal embossed monogram workshop.
I took them both through creating a sample piece of metal embossing, to get them used to using the tools and materials. I then took them through creating their monogram designs on paper, before transferring them to the metal and embossing their pieces.
