The website shows great views and green grass around the rv parking spaces. Don't believe it, the grass is dead and the only greenery is the weeds growing there. Walk your dog and be prepared to comb out the stickers. The site numbers are non existent, my wife had to walk around until she found out a spot and counted back. It's so quiet even at peak season. Beach campground is well laid out to accomadate large rigs and 50 amp. Water and electric only. Beutiful setting with hiking trails to beach.

Cavendish Campground is part of the PEI National Park. The campground is huge with large private sites tucked in the trees and small open sites right by the beach. This is a very popular place so the campground was very busy. We split our time between two sites. Site A37 was very shaded but also overgrown making entrance very tight without scraping the bushes. Large sites, clean bathroom, and staff was extremely helpful and lots of things todo in and around the area. I will be back again! Site hookups are new and area is clean .
