KIMBERLY — Fire managers in an update Thursday, Aug. 13, reported fighters are continuing to make progress on the Bologna, Cottonwood and Little Bear fires and continue to hold them to their footprints.

The Bologna Fire is 7 miles northeast of Kimberly and was started by lightning on July 16. It is 4,723 acres in size and is 42% contained.
